Example Safari Itineraries
All my trips are tailor-made to your requirements, and it's essential that we discuss your experience and interests so that I can design the ideal safari. However, the following example itineraries are illustrative of itineraries which combine horse riding with more traditional forms of safari:
- Walking, Riding and the Migration: Kenya provides a diverse range of accommodation. This itinerary selects some of the most exclusive:- a walking safari in northern Kenya, eight nights on a horse-riding trail following the migration and staying in a luxury mobile camp. The safari finishes at an exclusive bushcamp where the game-viewing will require lots of film or memory cards! 2007 Prices from: £5,400.00 per person, each of two travelling
- Victoria Falls and the Okavango Delta: This two-week trip is a relaxing but active way to experience Africa at its best. A visit to Victoria Falls, (bungee jumping or white-water rafting if you wish). Horse-riding and a mekoro trip in the Okavango, Botswana and big game-viewing in western Chobe. The combination of camps and destinations provide a wide range of game-viewing opportunities. 2007 Prices from: £5295.00 per person, each of two travelling
- Kenya Riding, Masai Mara and Beach - all in a week! If time is short, why not combine two of the best safari destinations - one of which can involve a horse riding trail - finishing with couple of days in an exclusive setting on the beach? Golden sandy beaches with options for deep sea fishing, snorkelling or diving off the coast. 2007 prices from: £3485.00 each of two travelling
